Echocardiograph Imaging: the Influence of Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis on Echocardiograph Interpretation
Dm Zamrin
Echocardiograph is a widely used imaging technique to examine various cardiac functions, especially to detect the left ventricular wall motion abnormality it allows non-invasive real-time visualization for the left ventricular wall motion. Partially, the evaluations of the left ventricular function based on visual interpretation by specialists which is experience-dependent. Unfortunately the quality of echocardiograph images is notoriously difficult to interpret even for the best physicians where they could misdiagnose the heart disease. Forthat there is a tremendous need for an automated technique that can provide objective diagnostic assistance, particularly to the less-experienced cardiologist.
