The chemical features of selected drug molecules still offer a lot of scope for the development of new UV and visible spectrophotometric and HPCL methods hopefully with better sensitivity, selectiviy, precision and accuracy. The author has made some attempts in this direction and succeeded in developing some new methods having advantages of one or more of the desirable features.
