This monograph presents a research work on the extent of innovativeness and the factors influencing the innovativeness among housing developers in Malaysia. While some scholars opine that the housing industry is generally lagging behind other industries in terms of innovativeness, others contend that this claim does not reflect the actual condition of the industry. This book therefore attempts to verify the claim about the innovativeness status of the housing industry in Malaysia. Empirical studies in other industries have shown that certain internal factors such as organizational culture and external factors such as environmental uncertainty do influence innovativeness of a firm. This book also examines the factors influencing the innovativeness of housing developers in Malaysia. The research findings reported in this work will encourage the stakeholders in the industry to pay much attention to the factors found to be significantly influencing the innovativeness among housing developers in Malaysia.
