Tell Me How Much Science You Can Tell: the Rirc Method Aquiles Negrete

This work explores the potentials of communicating science using comic strips (a popular media in Mexico) and shows the possibilities of measuring the success of such narratives to communicate science. Nowadays evaluating the quality of science communication is intensely debated in international forums as well as in specialized journals. The RIRC method (a method that uses memory tasks to asses learning) has proved a useful tool to evaluate science communication using narratives and has offered interesting information for research. This book illustrates both, a method to construct comic strips (with scientific content), and the use of the RIRC method as a means to measure success in communication.
