A child in the hospital encounters with new experiences. He feels strange and forlorn. Different hospital routine and traumatic painful procedure add to increase anxiety and stress level in hospitalized children. Therapeutic play assists children in developing the capacity to external reality, in providing a bridge between the hospital and the outside world and in developing a sense of unity within themselves.
