Soft ferrites are widely used as inductors for high frequencies applications ranging from 100Hz to a few Giga Hz. These are also used in various transformers, consumer electronic products like TVs, Monitors & Antenna etc. Various electromagnets made of ferrites are used in electro-mechanical and electronic industries . This book explains the manufacturing know-how of soft ferrites with precise control of process parameters. Process control steps like, Raw materials mixing, Calcination, Grinding of powders, Pressing, Sintering, Machining and Material Characterization etc have been explained based on experimental data. This manufacturing method is applicable to Manganese-Zinc, Nickel-Zinc and Lithium Titanium Ferrites. Different properties curves have been plotted and mathematical equations are fitted to predict the results. Various methods have been suggested to reduce the rejection and improve the quality.
