This book provides an insight to the Foetal anatomy that has become very special now a days due to application of surgery before birth for the treatment of lethal disorder. Before the advancement in the foetal surgical techniques, options for the suffering foetus were in the form of termination of pregnancy and planned caesarean section but the technical advancement provided a new option in the form of inutero correction of the malformations. Knowledge of the size of foetus of different gestational age has important applications in medical practice. A series of readings is to be preferred because it not only checks the accuracy of a single reading but also gives most useful information as to rate of growth of the foetus. Morphometric readings of foetal spinal cord will help in determining the age and sex of foetuses, which are of great medicolegal significance.
