The work represented in the book is divided into three chapters in first chapter deals with the introduction of heterocyclic compounds bearing indole ring system. Second chapter developed a novel, rapid and efficient methodology for the synthesis of imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivatives. In third chapter covers an introduction of 6-Chloro-indole-3-yl-glyoxylamide moieties represent important building blocks in both natural and synthetic bioactive compounds, which have been shown to possess diverse therapeutic activities the nature and the position of the substituent on the indole moiety influence these activities.
