The monograph represents coherent work which is dealing with the issue of possibility and occurrence obtaining of polymetallic nodules from the seabed. The piece summarizes research results and practical knowledge of world companies dealing with these issues. Technological cycle of nodules mining for the seabed in the direction from the bottom to the level of the ocean includes processes: release of the nodules from the bottom sediments, collection, sorting, washing, grinding, transport to the buffer, vertical nodules transport to the vessels and their transport to the continent. To this belong auxiliary operation providing logistically, informatively and energetically the whole system.
