The textbook focuses on the sequential extraction technique as a tool for the impact assessment of dumpsites to its immediate environment. Heavy metals bioaccumulation on the residents? tissues (blood, hair, urine, nails) and other environmental samples (hand-dug well waters, chickens fed with the waste dumps, dust particulate, and gaseous pollutants) were investigated.
