Starting with the analysis of the song "Lass rauschen, Lieb, lass rauschen" from "Des Knaben Wunderhorn" (Achim von Arnim and Clemens Brentano, 1805), he draws the circle to the present time. In the hip-hop song "Sie ist weg" (Die Fantastischen Vier, 1995) he recognizes "in some ways a return to the old German folk songs before their actual smoothing and editing." German text.
