As the title suggests, this book is a guide for retirees or potential retirees dealing with many of the issues that face all Americans. Most retires have to face the reality of how to live on a fixed income, some with limited resources. This book addresses those concerns and gives financial as well as practical advice on how cope with the burden of everyday living costs. The advice in this book is not an effort of the academic world. Rather, it is based on real world experiences of the author. In addition to the financial advice provided in the book the author provides advice and examples of his experiences with the psycological and physical challanges of living in retirement. To many retirees the thought of what they are going to do with themselves each day may be daunting.
