Blindfolded in a pajama type attire with a noose hung around his neck, his wedding ring and other metals have been removed. Having been 'properly prepared' his conductor leads him to the inner lodge door where with a knock the Worshipful Master calls out, "Who goes there?" Doesn't he realize he's saying the light Jesus offered him wasn't the real thing but was dim and fake while embracing Masonry's light? Didn't Jesus say in Matthew 6:24 "No one can serve two masters, either you will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other?
