In The Shadow Of Serenity Dieu Bao

In my last book, "Without Boundaries, My Life During the Viet Nam War". I had finally escaped the horrors of the Viet Nam War. Here I was a daughter of Viet Nam, no stranger to overwhelming fear, pain and violence standing in the San Francisco Airport, in America! I felt so much of my anxiety disappear as I looked around me. I felt something deep stir inside of my soul. It was a realization, something I had never felt before. I could finally be what I wanted to be: without boundaries. For me, life has always been a test of faith and endurance, a repeated crossing over through a progression of events and situations governed by struggles, conflicts and a substantial dose of pain. Usually, it was a battle just to keep my head above water. And, more often than not, the certainties were meager reassurance. I have been keeping a diary since I was sixteen and continue entries even today. This is my true story. I decided to write this as form of therapy, a way to release my inner demon. My path to escape the Shadow of Serenity and discover my drop of Nirvana here on Earth,
