Every book shop has guides on HOW TO BE A PARENT, HOW TO BE A SINGLE PARENT, HOW TO BE A GOOD PARENT, HOW TO AVOID BEING A BAD PARENT. There are books for people who suddenly find that their life has changed because of death, divorce or unexpected circumstance. Being a parent is hard work and I can understand why some people need books to learn how to make a good job of it. It is often overlooked that being a child can also be tough. This book is designed to be read by the children of single parents to help them realise what is needed to make a smooth-running family, headed by a single parent.
