The descriptions are based on my own experiences and give detailed information you won't find in the general descriptions from park websites or from hiking apps. Chances are you will hike many, if not all, of these trails if you spend any time in the mountains. I was completely unprepared for hiking properly in the mountains, although I spent most of my childhood outdoors and hiking around the farm and countryside I grew up in. I wish I had been more prepared before heading out and learning on my own. So, here is your chance to learn from my experiences and get prepared to hike.
