This book serves to give guidelines on how to identify, endure and overcome such notable habits and be counted worth of the Christian faith. It should be noted that all overcoming is made possible by the Holy Spirit. Of our own selves, it is and has proved much harder to overcome the world, but after following the advice and avoiding the obvious directions that lead to our spiritual downfall, the Christian is much likely to overcome the evil one. We shouldn't forget that Christ bids us: He who overcomes, the same shall be saved!
