Two years ago, both of my parents died in a tragic car accident. I've spent that time just trying to keep my head above water. This move to Chicago, it's a whole new beginning for me. I've bought a fantastic condo with spectacular views of Lake Michigan, I'm starting a grad program at Northwestern, and I'll be able to see my godfather, Dominic, as often as I'd like.
