My name is Richard Bruce Stirling. My mother, Sybil Constance Lynde Stirling, completed this history of the Whitby Lyndes in 1998. Sadly, Sybil passed away in March of 2013 in Whitby, Ontario. Sybil had an abiding passion for her ancestral family. Her wealth of family lore was unparalleled and is sadly missed. Thanks to Sybil's tireless efforts, though, the Lyndes of Whitby take their rightful place in the history of Canada. Proceeds go to the estate of Sybil Stirling for the benefit of Norman Stirling.
