Brother Eric
Inspired by the life-story of Ofra Haza, a student in Mumbai with a golden voice soon finds fame, but has to elope with her boyfriend when facing forced marriage to a Bollywood tycoon. Like Israel's famous mezzo-soprano, the Jewish girl in this musical discovers love and life, despite her tragic suffering. Surprisingly, the story of this double-plot is narrated by two South African travelers who meet on a plane to India and converts a novel into a screenplay for a movie. The music score includes thirteen songs.
