Crip Lyrics: The Unapologetic Poetry of Disability
Val Vera
Crip Lyrics: The Unapologetic Poetry of Disability is a collection of poems framing the many facets of Disability Culture. Written by disabled activist, speaker, organizer, and writer Val Vera, Crip Lyrics unveils the author's lived experiences and visceral connection with his identity as a "Crip" - a controversial yet widely used term adopted by the unapologetic voices within the Disability Community. Masterfully illustrated by disabled artist Melissa Marie Eckardt, Crip Lyrics boldly displays the art of Disability.
