Bloodline of the Ancients - Changing Bodies

Transitioning was difficult, but vampirism is even more challenging...
Everett is still struggling to come to grips with his new vampire nature-although being able to eat people who misgender him is pretty satisfying.
Less satisfying is that Lin, his new vampiric mentor, is not helping with her constant snipping. Also the mysterious golden amulet still seems to be influencing him; at times a strange voice whispers in his mind, and his body wanders while he sleeps.
Meanwhile Jack, his were-jackal boyfriend, is hunting Everett's maker across the globe. As the trail of murdered vampires get closer to Portland, Jack worries the mysterious master is coming for Everett.
Can the two of them piece things together before disaster strikes?
