Throughout this journey, she discovered a common theme that she was determined to change: the negativity around financial conversations. The discussion around money and finances has traditionally been met with confusion, uncertainty, and an overall disconnect. This is because it has always been a one-sided conversation focused on gathering information in the mind and creating a task list instead of beginning with a firm understanding of a person's feelings that have developed over time.

These experiences, feelings, and beliefs are in the heart, not in the mind. A person's emotional connection with money and finances is the true starting point and one that has been overlooked or even worse, dismissed. This is where Martha's educational background in both business and education shines, as she brings her heartfelt compassion, experience, and knowledge to uplift, empower, and educate those she works with.
