Many times, people take a passive approach to parenting. While holding their little ones, they imagine a big future. That future could include sports, arts, and maybe even the presidency. However, when it is time to raise children, parents should not be timid or passive. In fact, the bible instructs us to take a more militant approach.

"Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth"

(Psalms 127:4)

Arrows in the hand of a warrior sounds offensive. It sounds like war. However, this is exactly how we should look at parenting. We are not to be passive or defensive. A warrior is prepared, strategic and on guard. A warrior's arrows are his weapon and his protection for his possession. It is a part of a warrior's arsenal against any enemy of God's purpose and plan.

The principles in this book are not intended to make you feel judged or condemned. The authors objective is to share the principles that God gave her to aim the four arrows in her quiver.

Parents you are warriors. When you became stewards over your children you became mighty, strong, heroic vessels in God's kingdom.
