Torrance Hates SMA is a touching, telling story written by 7 year old Torrance Johnson and his family. Just a toddler when diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Torrance chooses daily to get the most out of life. He writes this book so that families who face SMA or other types of diseases and disabilities will know what to look out for and know how to still have hope. Torrance is a public speaker, a good student, but most of all he is a happy boy whose smile is so engaging it's hard to imagine that he can't walk, run, jump or do many other things on his own.
