It is a narrative of the author's family and her early life.

It also briefly reflects upon the plight of the Palestinian people.




Our Palestinian flag blew away in the wind,

We've searched everywhere

No trace can we find.

It is just as we feared

Like the Palestinian people, it has disappeared.

Ian found the flag, it had blown next door,

But the Palestinian people are still lying on the floor.
