Largo Calasti has never been one to follow the heroic traditions of his family. He chooses to be nothing more than a farmer. But when Jirel herself seems to have withdrawn from all of her priesthood, someone needs to do something, and he's had a vision that makes the local high priestess think that he might be needed, to go seek out the one priestess who has had a similar vision, a few days ride.
