Caly and Flo and the Fantastic Feather
Seymour Lavine
From the pages of Grandma's photo album to an amazing and fun time at the carnival, a magical blue feather takes the sisters, Caly and Flo, on a fantastic journey of music, dancing, colour, family, and sisterhood. Caly and Flo would like to go on stage. Caly and Flo would love to play some instruments. Caly and Flo would be excited to dance in the procession. Will they get to do all of these things at the carnival?
'Caly and Flo and the Fantastic Feather' is a fun adventure in the Caribbean through the colour and activity of a carnival. It is a good reminder for those who have Caribbean ancestry of the liveliness of the island nations. Additionally, readers get to experience an exciting time through the eyes and activities of Caly and Flo. Overall, this book appeals to children aged 3 - 8 who dream of having colourful, magical adventures, both close to home and far away.
