Michael Downes
a collection of twenty stories depicting life in the city of Derry, and its surroundings, including the Inishown Peninsula. The stories are vividly told, and in a strong North West of Ireland idiom. Amongst the collection are chilling ghost stories, metaphysical stories, and the outrageously funny and black humour that could only come from out of Ireland. All in all a great collection for the lover of the short story.
