Before the arrival of the pandemic, the people of the world were living very busy lives. They were always on the go with distracting technology at the tips of their fingers. The fast moving people never had the opportunity to slow down. This all changed when the COVID-19 pandemic came and paused the chaotic world the people once knew. The COVID-19 pandemic allowed the people to realize what was truly important in their lives and helped strengthen connections, show appreciation, and provide support to one another in times of need. Birthday parades, planting gardens, and spending time with family are only a few of the highlighted changes from the pandemic.




The purpose of this book is to help children and families find light in the midst of darkness. Every person has been affected by the pandemic in a unique way and this story aims to highlight the importance of global unity and positivity.
