I sighed, and my eyes closed for a moment, my hands dropping beneath my waistline. Upon opening my eyes, I stared into a mirror standing in front of me, and saw a reflection of a man who has been to hell and back, rejected by a secret society of ecstasy and refused a hand of peace in this life, a man weak and tired, staring right-back-at-me, smiling with real pain swimming within his eyes like something precious was broken inside, looking like a dying ray of sunshine that hadn't slept in days, or weeks to be more accurate. Strangely, the man in the mirror looked like me, as I was-at the moment.

(A smile is a present you give to yourself, when you rightfully delight in your pleasant past, happy memories are hugs, and sounds of laughter of your loved ones are warm kisses to your soul, so don't be afraid to remember your good old days.)
