A Fresh Look at Pentecost in Light of Present-Day Confusion William J Finnigan

A modern-day prophet, A. W. Tozer (1897-1963) stated that "The Spirit-filled life is not a special, deluxe edition of Christianity. It is part and parcel of the total plan of God for His people." That being said, it's a shame to witness the inferior, emaciated spiritual condition of the present-day Church. We have been "invaded" by compromise and carnality whereby the "Spirit-filled" believer is a rarity. The Church is so "subnormal" spriitually that a "normal" Spirit-filled Christian is considered "abnormal!" God help us!

"My heart is blessed to read such a bible-saturated, timely book about the Holy Spirit. What a joy it is to know that the very central focus of this book is also the very Person of the divine Godhead that guides us to the proper illumination about Himself! We serve and observe ministries both in North America and in many countires and cultures of today's world. The topic and applications/interpretations of Pneumatology are among the most divisive and dangerous to our fields and relationships. Confusion and false teaching are rampant with regard to the biblical truth of Pentecost, and its close companaion of modern-day 'Prosperity Theology.'

This book will be a steadfast witness of the truth from God's Word. It is well-organized, presented in a straight-forward manner with reliable Biblical references and faithful textual treatment. Again, I say - RELIABLE! My own heart is blessed by this book and I heartily recommend it."
