Derrick Cameron, a breast cancer survivor, was a healthy man who was active, focused on his career, and passionate about bringing science, technology, engineering, and math opportunities to his local communities. His stubbornness to go and see a doctor when he found something wrong with his body could have cost him his life. His doctor's diagnosis of the cancer disease changed his life forever.
