If your kids love Greek mythology, then this is their next reading!
(An illustrated storybook for young readers who are fluent in French)
Two friends, a pair of crows and an adventure beyond their known world. This fun retelling of an ancient Greek play takes you to the Land of the Birds, where democratic procedures are kept and all birds are equal. Who is King Hoopoe? Why did he call for a bird assembly? Hope and Trusty are trespassers and must face the consequences! The birds are angry and unforgiving... Can the two friends win over the assembly? How do the Olympian Gods get involved in all this?
A story about friendship, brotherhood and achieving impossible goals. Inspired by the play Ornithes (The Birds, 414 BC) by Aristophanes.
