It is observed that galaxies are receding at a velocity proportional to their distance from us. Are these velocities of recession the result of an initial big explosion? Could it be that the fabric of space and time are expanding? Thus the galaxies would feel no acceleration. They would be standing still with respect to the fabric of space. Or in other words they would be carried along for the ride in the expanding fabric of space. Therefore their is no relativistic effect connected with the velocity of receding galaxies. Thus, the galaxies are carried along with the expansion of the fabric of space. Accordingly, the universe has no outer limits. Such a universe extends to infinity in all four dimensions. And the Hubble constant is constant throughout space and time. Thus the Hubble constant is a fundamental constant. And what is the fabric of space-time? Answers: It is the interface between past and future. This is where the energy and materials in the past and future meet to form the universe that we know.
