The category of "Minor Prophets" for twelve books of the Old Testament automatically sends a message to our minds that somehow these books are less important or have less impact for our lives. This study book was written to raise the standard high and say that every Word of God is inspired for our benefit. As we view these books we will find that they are "The Not So Minor Prophets" indeed. The messages of the Minor Prophets are ones sent to warn, rebuke, guide and encourage, not just the people of their own day, but our spiritual lives today. There is a wideness and a richness in the Minor Prophets that tell us of God's heart to our hearts. His mercies are great and His judgments are sure. His promises are true and His guidance secure. All this and more can be found in these precious gems of our Bible, all part of the whole! It is especially challenging to study unique verses from the Minor Prophets that we can apply to a Christian woman's life. It is the author's prayer that the richness found as we study these books together, would help each of us to grow in our Christian lives. Even if the words were written hundreds of years ago. God reminds us that all things in the Bible were written for our instruction. May delving into the Minor Prophets instruct our lives indeed. May we find Major Lessons for Women's Hearts from the not so Minor Prophets.
