The Benefit of Ugly: Is based on a true story. Dogg is a street niggah. At least he thinks that he is. The Problem is he cannot be the niggah he images himself to be-not living in his mother's apartment. But all of that changes after his mother searches his bedroom and finds the gun used in a shooting. Now Dogg must choose between living in the city that he has loved his entire life, or reestablishing himself across the state in a suburban town that he never heard of.
