'Tis the Season For Dreams Todd McGee

When former professional football star Michael Hudson runs into the front door of Hannah Knight's restaurant on a snowy, winter day, long-lost dreams for each bubble to the surface.

After her father's death, Hannah abandons her dream of being a concert pianist to take over the family restaurant. The temporary job lasts thirteen years, and her dream gathers dust in a corner, like the piano she no longer plays.

Michael's plan of a lengthy professional football career, a gorgeous wife and a house filled with children is destroyed by a devastating knee injury. After his glamorous girlfriend dumps him, he throws himself into a coaching career, but proving himself leaves little time for family or romance. When he is fired a week before Christmas by a coach needing a scapegoat for a bad season, Michael returns to Ratledge Falls, Mass., to spend the holidays with his family for the first time in a decade.

He doesn't intend to stay long, but he can't stop thinking about Hannah after their chance encounter. When he learns his former high school coach is retiring and moving to Florida with his cancer-stricken wife, Michael asks Hannah to host a community dinner at her restaurant to honor his mentor.

Planning the event leads to a business dinner that turns romantic, Hannah's return to the piano for the first time in a decade, and a fake kiss that is anything but. When Michael is offered a chance to continue climbing the coaching ladder, he has to decide if pursuing his goal of becoming a head coach is more important than love, family and his small town.
