Carmon Wells is a church-going, good girl. She's been living a great life alongside the lord and her parents for as long as she can remember. Seeing the life everyone around her is living from her best friend, Peaches Greene, to her heartfelt crush, Kane Smart and his best friend J. C., James Cook, she decides that the church life has caused her to miss out on what it's like to be a normal girl at her age. At age twenty-one, she makes a life-changing decision to leave home and the church for good. On the other hand, she sees her best friend, Peaches, working at the hottest strip club in Duval-Bottom's up, and she seems to be living it up, so Carmon, of course, wants in. Carmon is new to this lavish lifestyle and will realize that this life change is a bit more than she bargained for. Finishing school and paying bills aren't as easy as Carmon thought it would be. Will she get the life she's out in the streets looking for? Being foolishly in love with shiny things, you have to be careful what you ask for because everybody can't handle what they might get.
