In 2014, video cameras were placed on active Barn owl nests to watch the birds 24-7. This book details the intimate lives of several Barn Owl families in Northern Colorado. Within the pages of this book, the author reveals aspects of the Barn Owls life that were previously unknown. Within the book, the author describes the courtship, nesting, egg-laying dates and times, the growth of the young as well as fledging and post-fledging activities of the Barn Owls. You will also gain some insight into the unbelievable amount of small mammals that a male Barn Owl brings to his family each evening. The book is also filled with detailed paintings and drawings as well as photographs that were all created by the author.
