She began as a candy-striper, and later became a nurse, doctor, coach and counselor. A lifelong learner, Carol has a host of academic and professional letters behind her name including; BA, RN, MD, FRCPC, ACC, MC, and CCC. With decades of professional health care experience combined with a lifetime of personal experience Carol has earned a "PhD in life" that only comes with experience. People often search for solutions during times of suffering. Carol has firsthand experience seeking solutions for the suffering of her patients, her clients and herself. Hope is always her first step in healing suffering. Today Carol's most known for her work coaching and counseling caregivers. She is a professional coach, certified by Erickson Coaching International, the International Coach Federation and the Physician Coaching Institute. Carol holds a post-degree diploma in Interprofessional Mental Health and a Master's degree in Counseling. Her thesis work was focused on burnout with a special interest in mindfulness to build balance and restore resilience.
