The story of Godwin's pursuit of the love of his life, Olia, is a lesson in the fine art of persistence, focus and faith. Convinced that God is leading him to marry Olia, Godwin never gives up until he walks her down the aisle. All seems lost on several occasions, but in the end the romance blossoms. This book also has a deeper lesson for readers: the futility of Christians trying to pursue their own path in life when the Christian faith is all about following God's lead. You see, Godwin had another love in his life: the love of travel and the desire to leave Africa to live in Europe. Only this time, it was a complete disaster, because Godwin was naïve about travelling, and he was impatient. As Godwin honestly tells the reader, in his desire to fulfil his dream, he also gives in to temptations to be dishonest. But through all the resulting disappointment, danger and imprisonment, God never lets go of Godwin and his heart's desire and this story too has a happy ending. Evangelist Godwin Ibeh is originally from Nigeria and now lives in London. He is married to Olia and they have two daughters. His and his wife's hearts' desire is to reach the whole world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15).
