MEN still need to be won to Christ. "Taking men alive" for Christ is still the chief responsibility and privilege of Christians. For if men are not "taken alive" for Christ, they will be "taken alive" for Satan; as the first chapter of this study of personal work shows, the Greek verb meaning "to take alive" occurs only twice in the New Testament, in one case meaning capturing men unto eternal life, in the other, Satan's capture of men unto eternal death. And the best way of winning men to Christ is to lead them to him one by one.
