Sammy the Snail Teaches You to Count
Charles Merrell
These books are meant to be read to the child., creating a fun interactive book to teach counting. Sammy the Snail teaches his niece Susie Snail to count using antique postcards. Some of the postcards a very weird. Babies flying on dragonflies ? Chickens driving a car ? Cats wearing hats ? Bert the Bunny pops in to help but complains there are no bunny postcards. Who wants to see dragonflies, chicks or cats when you can see a fine rabbit ! This book is a great way of teaching counting to young beginners, providing an opportunity for interaction between the reader & child. It is also entertaining for older children to enjoy the weird antique postcards, maybe even read to a younger sibling.
