THE TYRANNY OF DENIAL or Brexit - the Thriller Richard Simon

Britain has voted to Leave the European Union - but dark forces with vested business and political interests are trying to stop the democratic will of the people. A happily-married couple suddenly find themselves estranged and pursuing unexpected careers on opposite sides of the Brexit divide, one working for the BBC in Brussels, the other trying to ensure that the government delivers the democratic mandate. As their lives diverge, they find themselves questioning their loyalties as the skulduggery and intrigue mount: ex-Prime Ministers, Lords, politicians and the EU are all involved as the tension tightens... And when the European Union makes a dramatic and illegal intervention into the running of Britain, the Russians and Americans become involved, raising the stakes even higher. Will Britain be a free, sovereign and democratic country again, or will the European Union suppress it forever? Only dramatic and unexpected global and European events will decide the answer - and the unbending and resolute will of the Great British people. In a biting new and relevant contemporary drama, author Richard Simon spins a character-driven story into a larger tale of international intrigue in his gripping political thriller, The Tyranny of Denial. Will Britain be a free, sovereign and democratic country again, or will the EU suppress it forever?
