Our children are surrounded by humanistic thinking which has taken over many of our schools, colleges, and sadly, many of our churches. Young people today fail to see the relevance of the Lord in their lives or in their families. What they hear and see on television and in the news fills them with apprehension and confusion. There are so many distracting directions the world takes young people today, far from the path the Lord would have them take. The Israelites were instructed in Deuteronomy and Psalms to make known to their children and their children's children and even the children to be born in future generations, the great things God had done in their lives so their children would not forget the ways of God and might set their hope in Him. Those instructions apply today to our families just as they did to the families in Old Testament times. If there was ever a time when parents and grandparents need to follow those instructions, it is now. It is the hope in writing and publishing this book that parents and grandparents might consider documenting and sharing great things the Lord has done in their families and how good the Lord has been to them. Young people are in great need of seeing God at work within their families in the lives of those who have come before them! The author has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a Master's in Christian School Administration. The basis for this book is the result of the Lord's answered prayer and a God given desire to encourage others to reach out to future generations in their families and to inform them what great things the Lord has done in their own lives.
