As part of the Series for the Visually Impaired, with extra large, 18 fonts. This is a translation of the Bible into Basic English, a version of English with 850 standard words. 150 words were added to the vocabulary for this work. The translation was done by S. H. Hooke. The New Testament was released in 1941 and the Old Testament in 1949.
