My Life, My Words
Dr Dan Riley
In memoirs, poems, and essays, Dan Riley tells the story of a life both serendipitous and gratifying, from grammar school to post-retirement. He spins tales of a teenage copyboy in a big city newsroom, life aboard a landing ship in the Pacific during WW II, anecdotes of his golfing life, experiences as a hospice volunteer, a tribute to his wife Elaine, and the lasting memory of high school days. A dog-lover extraordinaire, his stores present a nostalgic and sometimes humorous account of the life of one of the rapidly diminishing "Greatest Generation."
