A valise comes flying out of the window of a limousine speeding along the interstate and lands not twenty feet from where Chad Arthur is walking home from school. Chad picks up the valise and waits patiently for the limousine to return. Fifteen minutes later, when there is no sign of the limousine, he looks inside only to discover that the valise contains thousands of newly minted bills. He is stunned. Who would throw all that money out of a car window? And why hadn't they turned around to retrieve it? And what is he supposed to do now? Take the money to the cops? Tell his parents? Hide the money and tell no one?
