There's something about being born in the heart of Africa... Africa is a wild place. My Africa had elephants, and lions, and snakes... which led to some encounters that were scary, and others that were downright funny. My Africa nursed me at the breast in Bulawayo, carried me in her bosom through Hwange, Durban, Pretoria, Windhoek, Otavi, Johannesburg... then delivered me to her southernmost mellow shores - Cape Town - from where I flew away. This is the story of that African journey. No, did I say journey? It was more like an ongoing adventure!
